St.
Agatha students have a lot to say! Thank you to everyone
signed up for the Newspaper Club for the 2010-2011 school
year. Registration is now closed and we have already started
to work on our first edition. Last year we had 38 students
on our writing staff. This year we have over 100 students
who would like to be a part of this club! Because of the
large number of students interested, the students will
be organized into teams. |

To
make it fair to all students wishing to be a part of this
club, each team will be assigned specific dates (still
meeting only on Mondays from 2:30-3:30) in which they
will meet and be given their assignments, as well as time
to work on their piece for the newspaper. The newspaper
will be divided into 3 issues: fall, winter, and spring.
This will provide students with ample amount of time to
collaborate with other students and edit their work. |

*Please
note that all students in grades 6-8 are invited to all
newspaper club meetings as they serve as not only writers,
but also editors for the Newspaper Club.* |
